Biography: Tony Leung started acting in TVB series from 1982. Tony made his movie debut in Mad Mad 83.

Tony received his first of many awards as Best Supporting Actor in Hong Kong Film Awards for My Heart Is Eternal Rose in 1998.

In 1999 he gain international exposure with "A City Of Sadness" which won the Venice Film Festival Golden Bear.

Tony's breakthrough came in Wong Kar Wai directed 1994 ChungKing Express that won him numerous Best Actor Awards.

Tony Leung won the prestigious Cannes Best Actor Award in 2000 with In the Mood for love.

Other famous movies that Tony Leung starred include Infernal Affairs, 2046, Hero etc..

He is in relationship with actress Carina Lau since 1989.
